The light show at the Kerameikos
The proposal for a new Light show at the Kerameikos is developed and intended as a temporary light installation, primarily to make the size of the original, great city wall system of ancient Athens visually tangible for the visitor. With special lighting technology, a unique event becomes visible at the archaeological site between the two city gates with their defenses, towers and city walls and creates new potential for the recognizability and identity of the place along the sacred street at the outlets of the acropolis and historic city.
